We are expanding though. Our oldest has been responsible enough and we have awsome neighbors who are always watching. This is certainly a new chapter in our lives. It's kind of the hushed conversation between my friends with kids the same ages. :) I rememeber staying home alone when I was 9. Times have certainly changed, for the worse, quickly. My first babysitting job was at the age of 12.Thrifty Roosthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16018948679883108677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2628923047652487528.post-5836001355875980942008-06-10T09:24:00.000-04:002008-06-10T09:24:00.000-04:002008-06-10T09:24:00.000-04:00This entry was cracking me up! He has been driving them forever but I still worry about the blowout of a tire, an animal running out in the middle of the road, the crazy drivers not looking for us...it goes on and on. I have a hard time relaxing my thoughts when we ride. I haven't rode much, only a few times here and there. Raleigh absolutely loves to ride. Oh, and I'm glad I've found someone who will leave their children home for just a little bit while they go around town. Raleigh and I do this too, we go on our nightly walks, or to grab a bite to eat (ALONE!!) Our oldest is 14 and the second oldest is 11 but he is sometimes more responsible than his older brother (sad but true!). Anyway, I know this is long, but I'm so glad you commented on my page because I tried to look you up but I wasn't able to find it. I'm excited about reading your other posts, you've been doing this awhile!! Take care and I'll talk to you soon.<BR/>CathyCatherinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02008785683664646306noreply@blogger.com
